MARTIN LUTHER KING'S DREAM
My dream is that one day the American people will recognize the fact that human beings are born free and equal. One day the children of slaves will be able to sit together with the children of their masters in an atmosphere brotherhood and fraternity. One day four young children will be citizens of a society where they will not be judged on the basis of their skin and color, but on the basis of their character. In the United States, just a few decades ago, black people were treated worse than animals. In those days, there were amusement parks that read, "Black and dogs are not allowed here." They used to face humiliation on the roads. Buses had separate seats for them at the back. But one day a black woman (Rosa parks) refused to vacate her seat on the bus for a white man and this small act started the civil rights struggle in America. It was a long struggle in which the workers and the poor as well as the poets, writers, singers, women and men all took part. Eventually, under the leadership of Martin Luther King, a long battle was fought to end racial discrimination, and in 1964, civil rights law was passed in the United States. Under which racial discrimination was eliminated and racial equality was guaranteed.

In South Africa, Nelson Mandela fought against racism, leading to 28 years in prison. This struggle of the black population against racism continued for eighty years. This struggle has proved to be a beacon for the struggle against other injustices in human history. In 1993, Nelson Mandela was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. Nelson Mandela elected South Africa's first black president after a landslide victory in South Africa's 1994 election. He did not take any revenge on the white population of South Africa.
DISCRIMINATION ON THE BASIS OF COLOR AND RACE
If we look at history, we see many periods in which people were persecuted on the basis of race and color.. They were excluded from the process of social development, but we also hear stories of the struggle against this injustice. In which people campaigned for their rights, sacrificed their lives, served long prison terms and endured severe mental and physical torture, but eventually achieved their human rights.

DISCRIMINATION ON RELIGIOUS GROUNDS
Discrimination on the basis of religion is also a part of history and we still see this discrimination all around us. Religious discrimination is when a person is treated unequally based on his or her religious beliefs rather than on merit. Minority and majority divisions are not the same everywhere. For example, Hindus and Christians are in the minority in Pakistan while Muslims are in the minority in neighboring India . When there are reports of abuse of the Muslim minority in India by Hindu extremist groups, the Muslim majority in Pakistan suffers greatly. Similarly, the Hindu minority is being abused by Muslim extremist groups; so they feel bad for the Hindus who oppress the minority there. This means that the majority, regardless of their nationality, does not view the persecution of religious minorities in their own country as it does with the persecution of minorities in other countries.
Believers of every religion have their own beliefs, so it is impossible to think of anyone as inferior or superior in such matters. Discrimination is often based on ignorance, prejudice and negative perceptions.
