Part 1 s t Constitutional and legal framework The highest law of the country is called the constitution.The constitution is the primary source of other laws.A constitution is a social contract between the state and its citizens, that defines the structure of government and defines the basic rights and responsibilities of citizens. Article 9 :-  Individual security No person shall be deprived of life of liberty, except in accordance with the requirements of the law. Article 10 :- Protection from arrest and detention Anyone arrested will be informed of the reasons of their arrest as soon as possible and will have the right to consult and consult a lawyer of their choice. The arrested person will be produced before a magistrate within 24 hours and such arrested person will not be detained for more than the specified period without the permission of the magistrate.  Provided that any of the matters mentioned in this article shall not apply to any person, who has been arrested or detained
