NATIONAL COMMISSION ON HUMAN RIGHTS The body was set up in 2015 by a law that gives the commission office the power to take action on its own, if human rights abuses continue in any part of the country. Can visit the jails and assess the conditions of the people imprisoned there. Can review laws and recommend new rules. It can help the Pakistani state in fulfilling its international obligations and preparing reports. In case of any incident of human rights violation, it can intervene directly and order an inquiry. The commission has the same powers as the Civil court. Human and Humanity SINDH HUMAN RIGHTS COMMISSION Like the national human rights commission, the human rights commission was to be set up at the provincial level, but so far only the human rights commission has been set up in Sindh province, who has the authority to do everything at the provincial level, what the national commission does at the national level.
