Human and Humanity MARTIN LUTHER KING'S DREAM My dream is that one day the American people will recognize the fact that human beings are born free and equal. One day the children of slaves will be able to sit together with the children of their masters in an atmosphere brotherhood and fraternity. One day four young children will be citizens of a society where they will not be judged on the basis of their skin and color, but on the basis of their character.In the United States, just a few decades ago, black people were treated worse than animals. In those days, there were amusement parks that read, "Black and dogs are not allowed here." They used to face humiliation on the roads. Buses had separate seats for them at the back. But one day a black woman (Rosa parks) refused to vacate her seat on the bus for a white man and this small act started the civil rights struggle in America.
