Human and Humanity 03
THE THREE PILLARS OF THE STATE
The state has three major institutions that run the country's system for a certain period of time.
- Parliament
- Judiciary
- Administration
Human and Humanity
PARLIAMENT:-
citizens elect their representatives to vote and send them to parliament.Parliament is the most important pillar of the state and it has full authority to know, give opinions, make decisions and legislate on all the affairs of the state(issues and routines). The members of parliament (MN-As,MP As) elect the leader of the parliament by their vote, which is called the prime minister at the federal level and the chief minister at the provincial level. Then the prime minister form his cabinet by electing some MN As,MP As.JUDICIARY:-
The judiciary has two functions, one is to provide justice to the people against injustice and the other is to interpret the constitution of the country in case of disagreement. For example,if there is a disagreement in the parliament on a constitutional point or the parliament makes a law that is against the human and civil rights of the constitution, then the judiciary interprets it in the light of the constitution and asks the parliament to repeal the law watch again and remove its flaws. In the democracy, the judiciary is an impartial,no-political and independent institution so that the administration of justice can be established without any pressure. But in every age we see some leading people, who despite their small numbers, raise their voices against oppression,so the king and the religious leaders also faced a challenge, after centuries of struggle and 30 years of continuous religious wars from 1524 to 1648,a contract came into force called the contract of Westphalia a result, religion was separated from the state and it was decided that one state would take care of the boundaries of another. This is where the idea of the right and sovereignty of state came from.ADMINISTRATION:-
The administration implements the laws and policies made by the parliament, they are also called government officials, this includes institutions such as the army, police, education, health, agriculture and income tax etc.these institutions are unpolitical. No matter which political party the government belong to,these institutions are required to abide by the orders of the government, and be accountable to them. The prime minister runs the country's system through the cabinet and administration.MODERN STATE AND GOVERNMENT
The modern state has three main objectives.
- protection of citizens
- Ensuring the provision of necessities of life to the citizens
- Bringing citizens into a common law and legal order, regardless of differences in groups, regions and languages
Then the question arises as to what is the way in which people in a society can live in peace, equality and mutual respect by accepting ideologies, religious differences, different languages and cultural backgrounds.Obviously, live and let live is the simple answer and the philosophy of live and let live can flourish most in democracy.
