IDENTITY

BIRTH:-

Can anyone claim that he has the right to his own birth and that he had his own will to be born a man, a woman or transgender.Is it our decision as to which country, which race, which religion or which family we are born into ? 

Of course, the answer to all these questions is no.All our identities are beyond our control.That is, if we are born male, female or transgender, we are born in a particular country, region or race in the home of a believer in a particular religion, then all this identity comes to us from nature.

WHAT IS DISCRIMINATION?

Differences based on color, race, religion, creed, language, cultural identity, political views,social status or financial status is called discrimination.For that reason

1. A group of individual has more opportunities for development than other individuals and groups, or they are given more facilities than other people. 
2. A group of individual has fewer opportunities for development than other groups or individuals, or they may be deprived of opportunities for development.
3. Exclude any group or individual from the development process.

However,  a difference that is seen due to one's hard work or ability, there is no discrimination, for example, if one of two students takes the first position and the second fails, we cannot say that they were discriminated against.And if one of the two students is a Muslim and the other belongs to Hindu christian or any other religion, and the Muslim student gets 20 extra marks in the exams for memorizing the Quran, it will be a discrimination.Because no Hindu or christian or student of any other religion can memorize the Quran.Therefore, these twenty extra marks will put Muslim students ahead the competition everywhere and non-Muslim students will continue to be discriminated against, because of the twenty extra marks.

If we join a party, that party and its politics become our identity. If we are attached to literature and we are members of a literary organization or poetry or novels are published, then we have a poet or becomes an identity as a writer.

When you all work for the rights of workers, farmers, women, children, minorities and become part of the movement, your identity as a human rights activist become clear.

All these identities of human beings, whether by nature or by us, are not superior or inferior. They are for the identification of each other.But we see that people around us are oppressed, unfair and discriminated against because of their identities.

If you look at the history of Pakistan, it is very gratifying that a woman here has raised her voices against this discrimination.What is the field including education, health, business and politics, where they did not dispel the impression that woman is not inferior to man. Men and women are physically different from each other, but when we turn this physical difference into a social difference, it leads to different forms of gender discrimination.

GENDER DISCRIMINATION

When we look around us in our country, we see the most discrimination on the basis of gender. Unequal treatment of a person on the basis of being a man or a women rather than a qualification is called gender discrimination.

At the root of gender discrimination is the assumption, that women are inferior to men.Therefore, she should live in obedience to men. The general impression is that a girl need less education than a boy, because she only has to fulfill domestic responsibilities, she doesn't even need equal employment opportunities, because of what job she has to do.In fact, in our social structure, women do not even have equal opportunities.They are offered on a daily basis obsolete rituals, whose main purpose is to make women inferior to human beings.She is paid as ransom for the murder, she is killed in the name of honor and sometimes she has an abortion before she is born.
